Weekend in El Campo

We spent last weekend in El Campo for the annual Krenek family shrimp and oyster fry. It was a wet weekend but we did not let the weather dampen our fun.

Have rain boots, will travel.

Checking out the cows.

Not sure what this face is all about but I think it's hilarious!

Checking out Great-grandma Edna's Bluebonnets.

Maggie had so much fun playing with her cousins Cole (4 years old) and Reagan (2 1/2 yrs.)

Maggie showing Reagan something outside.

Playing cars with Cole.

Tuckered out!
Hope you all have a great week!

Tomboy? Princess?

You decide.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day has come and gone, but thanks to modern-day technology, we can revisit it again now.

Here's Maggie in her heart-day attire.

Here are some pictures from her party at school:

Inspecting her Valentines':

Oooh a present!

Much love to all!

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?

We can! We took Mags to see Sesame Street Live at the Nokia Theater on Saturday. She really seemed to enjoy it. Here are some pics:

Maggie and Michael waiting for the show to begin.

oooh lights! Yeah, you counted right. We're five rows from stage. Nothing but the best for this Elmo groupie.

See the Elmo balloons. These people are genius really. I can hear the marketing meeting now: "Hey, I know, what if during intermission we send someone out with a bunch of Elmo mylar balloons. The kids will go nuts and parents will have to buy one." Not the Kreneks though! We didn't buy one. We bought two! Because my husband has the patience of a gnat and "did not want to wait around for change." Did I mention that these were $10 a pop? (No pun intended.) Someone - my guess is Elmo - banked as there were at least 600 balloon-toting tots.

A live action shot of the chacters we all know and love.

Hope you all have a sunny day! Get it? from the theme song? "Sunny days, chasing the clouds away..." Oh, nevermind!
