My love-hate relationship with my iPhone

I am usually a fan of all things Apple. Macs are greatness. I love my iPod. And, on most days, I love my iPhone. You can do a heck of alot with an iPhone. Surf the web, email, listen to music, figure out where you need to go with its Map function, text and play all sorts of games. You can even play the cowbell along with your favorite song. It's a very handy toy. Which is why I had to have one as soon as they came out. Now let me tell you why I hate my iPhone. I am constantly calling people on accident. Just ask my sister Karrie who now answers my phone calls with: "Did you mean to call me?" Don't be surprised if some day you too get a message full of me chatting it up with friends on the way to lunch - or doing who knows what - because I've called you and I have no idea. Just let me apologize in advance.

Then there is the issue of when I actually do mean to call you, but my cheek (which apparently is the fattest cheek in all of America, as this happens ALL THE TIME) activates the mute button so the person I called can no longer hear me as I chat away. I thought I had found a solution when I tried switching to the key pad mode but my aforementioned fat cheek kept hitting numbers on the touch screen so the conversation was interrupted by beeps and bloops as numbers started being dialed. I finally had to hang up before I inadvertantly conferenced some stranger into the conversation. Am I the only one with these issues? Perhaps there is a fix that I just don't know about yet. I understand that the 2nd generation iPhone apparently has these bugs worked out - but there is nothing wrong with my phone to warrant me tossing it for a new one.

iPhone users weigh in please....

Only a month late...

Well now that January is over I figured I should probably post some Christmas pics! So without further ado, I present Christmas 2008:

Here are all the grandkids with mimi and papa.

Christmas Morning

Playing the keybaord from Gramps! We had to take her gifts to her in the wagon to open as she did not want to get out!

Chillin' with the dolls.

Playing with Baby Stella

Aunt Mer takes Mags for a ride

Aunt Mer brought her dog Chance, much to MagB's delight! She loves laying on him - he's like her own personal beanbag chair.

Have a great week!
